Dennis Ski Menace Ski
Beginning psnel for the comic story "Dennis Ski Menace Ski." Dennis is seen dancing in skis and winterwear.
dennis >
Hey, Dad! How 'bout buyin' me some skis?
father >
Skis, eh?
Dennis and his father are standing infront of a ski shop, which Dennis asks his father to buy him skis.
father >
Those are pretty expensive, son.
dennis >
I got some money in my PIGGY BANK!
Dennis and his father are looking at some skis within the shop.
father >
I don't think you have enough, Dennis.
dennis >
Well, that's YOUR fault!
Dennis' father begins to walk away from the shop, telling Dennis that he would not have enough money. Dennis points out that his father is at fault for this.
ather >
MY fault?
dennis >
Yeah! Ya won't let me be a COWBOY or a FIREMAN an' MAKE some money!
Dennis explains that his father not letting him pursue his dreams of being either a cowboy or fireman is holding him back from earning money.

father >
I know! I'll MAKE you a pair of skis!
dennis >
Aw, Dad!
Dennis' father is shown walking, smoking a pipe, as Dennis trails behind him.
dennis >
How 'bout that KITE ya made me, an'it wouldn't FLY? An' that BOAT ya made me an'it SANK? An' that.....
father >
Okay, Okay!
Dennis trails behind his father with his arms spread outward in exclamation, Dennis' father wears a frown while smoking his pipe.
father >
THESE skis are practically ready made!
dennis >
They are?
Dennis' father breaks off two planks of wood from a barrel full of trash, Dennis wears a suprised and confused face.
ather >
Uh-huh! I'll just nail this piece of innertube on...bend the nails under...and...
Dennis observes his father in the shed as he nails the piece of innertube onto one of the planks of wood.
father >
And there you are! A pair of skis!
dennis
Hey! Pretty keen! Make a pair for Tommy, too, huh?
Dennis' father presents him with the finished skis made from wood planks.
father >
Well, that's mighty generous of you to give Tommy a pair.
dennis >
GIVE 'em? I'm gonna SELL 'em to him!
Dennis' father is shown holding a hammer, working on a new pair of skis for Tommy. Dennis holds his own newly made pair.

Hey, Tommy! Look at the keen SKIS I got!
Dennis runs through the snow with a pair of skis in each hand, Tommy looks at him confused.
tommy >
Huh! They're home-made!
dennis >
Well, what's wrong with THAT?
Dennis presents the two pairs of skis to Tommy, Tommy looks taken aback.
dennis >
Don't ya like home-made PIES? An' COOKIES? An' CAKES?
tommy >
Well, yeah...sure!
Tommy stands with his hands in his pockets and a blank expression, Dennis expresses his questions to Tommy, still holding his skis.
ennis >
So what's wrong with THESE? C'mon...I'll let ya have 'em CHEAP!
tommy >
I don't WANT 'em!
Dennis extends his left arm and shoves a pair of skis at Tommy, still holding the other pair in his right arm. Tommy gives a surprised expression
tommy >
They're for slidin' down HILLS... an' there's no hills around HERE!
dennis >
That's right, darn it!
Tommy extends his arms outward in exclamation, Dennis is stood next to him holding the two pairs of skis.
tommy >
HEY, LOOK!
dennis >
How 'BOUT that!
Tommy points to something in the distance, both him and Dennis look in the same direction.

dennis >
Hi, Mr. Wilson! Where'd ya get those CRAZY TENNIS RACKETS?
tommy >
An' how are ya gonna play TENNIS in the SNOW?
Dennis and Tommy walk up to Mr.Wilson both holding their own pair of skis. Mr.Wilson turns to look at them, holding two tennis rackets.
wilson >
These happen to be SNOWSHOES! And I'm not going to play TENNIS... I'm going to take a TRAMP in the COUNTRY!
dennis >
Yeah?
Mr. Wilson looks down at Dennis and Tommy, still holding two tennis rackets.
dennis >
Where IS he?
wilson >
Where's WHO ?
Dennis and Tommy look at up at Mr.Wilson, both still carrying their skis.
ennis >
That TRAMP you're gonna take in the country!
wilson >
Great Scott!
Dennis and Tommy look up at Mr.Wilson; Mr.Wilson looks down at Dennis with an expression of annoyance.
dennis >
Hey! There's HILLS in the COUNTRY!
tommy >
Yeah! for SKIIN'!
Dennis and Tommy look at eachother with hopeful expressions, each with their pair of skis in hand.
dennis >
WE'RE GOIN' WITH YA, MR. WILSON!
wilson >
OH NO!
Dennis and Tommy, carrying their skis, run behind Mr.Wilson as they try to catch up with him. Mr.Wilson stops in his tracks and yells.

WHY WON'T ya take us, instead of that ol' TRAMP?
wilson >
I'm not TAKING a tramp! I mean I'm going... I'm not...
Dennis questions Mr.Wilson with his hand on his hip while Tommy stands blankly behind him; Martha is seen standing in the doorway to their house in the background.
martha >
George! What IS it?
wilson >
It's these KIDS! I just want to take a tramp... a walk... a hike...
dennis >
An' he won't take US!
Martha, wrapped in a green blanket, steps outside to talk to Mr.Wilson; Mr. Wilson holds his hand out in expression while Dennis and Tommy stand beside him.
dennis >
Gee, we just wanna try these SKIS my Dad made!
martha >
Oh, you POOR dears!
wilson
Here it comes!
Dennis holds up his skis for Martha to see as Tommy stands beside him; Mrs. Wilson holds her finger up to her lips while Mr. Wilson holds his palm to his face in exasperaton.
rs_wilson >
George, PLEASE take them. I can tell their mothers, And they'll have SUCH fun!
wilson >
That's just what I'm AFRAID of!
Martha smiles as she rests her hand on Mr. Wilson's jacket. Mr. Wilson has his mouth open in mid sentence.
dennis >
Don't be afraid, Mr.Wilson! WE'LL take good care of ya!
martha >
They're IN the car already, George.
Dennis and Tommy are in the backseat of the car; Martha and Mr. Wilson look at them in surpise.
dennis #tommy >
FOR HE'S A JOLLY GOOD FELLA
wilson
JOLLY isn't quite the word!
Mr. Wilson's head can be seen through the window as he drives the car on the road; just the tops of Dennis' and Tommy's head can be seen from the backseat.

All right... we'll hike to the top of this hill and you kids can slide down.
dennis >
Okay!
tommy >
Yeah!
Mr. Wilson sits on a tree stump at the bottom of the hill while putting on his snowshoes made from tennis rackets; Dennis trails behind Tommy as they both climb to the top of the snowy hill carrying their skis.
wilson
Tum...tee...tum.. Alone at last!
Mr. Wilson marches up the snowy hill wearing his tennis racket snowshoes
dennis >
Phew!
Mr. Wilson becomes unbalanced while climbing the snowy hill, his arms in an outward configuration as he tries to regain balance.
wilson
PUFF!
wilson
PUFF!
Mr. Wilson marches with his arms in front of him, struggling to reach the top.
wilson >
Ugh...puff...ugh...
Dennis and Tommy smile contently sitting on the back of Mr. Wilsons tennis racket snowshoes as he struggles climbing up the hill.
dennis >
Keep goin' Mr. Wilson! We're almost to the top!
wilson >
Why, you little...
Mr. Wilson bends down with his hands to the ground, looking back at Dennis and Tommy; Dennis and Tommy look to Mr.Wilson as they sit on the back of his tennis racket snowshoes.

Gee! My dad just says THAT word when he's playin' GOLF
Mr. Wilson angrily storms off as Dennis and Tommy lay in the snow on their backs.
tommy >
They don't go very FAST, do they?
dennis >
Not like on telebision.
Dennis and Tommy slowly glide down the hill on their skates.
tommy >
Maybe your Dad didn't MAKE 'em right!
dennis >
Sure he did! Maybe the SNOW isnt SLIPPERY enough!
Dennis and Tommy come to a stop on the hill with their skis.
tommy >
Let's make a SNOWMAN, instead!
dennis >
Okay!
Dennis and Tommy hop off their skis to make a snowman, they become hidden by the snow; Mr. Wilson can be seen making his way down the hill in the background.
wilson >
Tum-tee-tummm....
Mr. Wilson happily walks down the hill with is tennis racket snowshoes.
wilson >
WHAAA?
Mr. Wilson steps on Dennis' and Tommy's skates that were left on the hill, he starts to slide down the hill.

HALP!
dennis >
Look at Mr. Wilson GO!
tommy >
YIPPEE!
Dennis and Tommy watch as Mr. Wilson goes very quickly down a hill surrounded by trees on a pair of snowshoes
Mr. Wilson looks scared as he continues accidentally skiing down the hill
Mr. Wilson covers his eyes as he comically swerves around several trees without hitting them
wilson >
MARTHA!
Mr. Wilson spreads his arms and feet as he launches off a hill
Mr. Wilson falls on his butt into the snow with a large puff of snow

THAT'S why the skis wouldn't work for us... we're not HEAVY enough!
tommy >
But Mr. Wilson sure is!
Dennis and Tommy run along the snow bank
wilson
OHHHH
Mr. Wilson is laying partially buring in the snow in a look of pain. Tommy and Dennis are jogging down the hill looking at him
wilson >
MARTHA!
dennis >
Y'know somethin'... I don't think Mr. Wilson LIKES skiin'!
tommy >
An' I don't think he's gonna like US!
Mr. Wilson is laying in the snow with his eyes closed as Dennis and Tommy hover over him looking at him
wilson >
W-where am I?
dennis >
Hurry up!
Mr. Wilson slowly comes out of his knockout and looks up. Dennis and Tommy are seen getting into the car
dennis >
Hi, Mr. Wilson! Boy, the snow sure is SLIPPERY today, huh?
wilson >
SNOW... SLIPPERY? But I've been snowshoeing for 30 YEARS and THIS never happened!
Mr. Wilson is sitting up and has now lost his hat as Dennis and Tommy walk back towards Mr. Wilson away from the car
END.

Hm! Of course I've never been snowshoeing with Dennis...
Mr. Wilson looks disgruntly at Tommy and Dennis who are now sitting next to him in the car
